Cheer On Or Ride In The Versatility Ranch Horse Show

This weekend, July 13-14, people in the Ardmore, Oklahoma area have the chance to watch and participate in the Versatility Ranch Horse Show for Every Breed & Any Level Rider at Johnson Performance Horses! As the title mentions, anyone can participate, no matter what horse you ride or how long you have been riding. There’s no excuse not to come out!

The show is part of the Summer Buckle Series, which began in May, and ends with the July 13 weekend. That means this is your last chance to get a piece of the action!

This weekend is also the perfect event to get yourself familiar with JPH and all they have to offer, including AQHA, VRH & All Breed classes.

Daily Competitions

On Saturday, Rebecca Halvorson will judge the different categories, which include Jackpot Ranch Cutting, AQHA Cutting, AQHA Versatility Ranch Horse (VRH) Ranch Cutting, AQHA Working Cow Horse, AQHA Boxing, AQHA Ranch Riding, and AQHA Reining.

On Sunday, Wayne Halvorson will judge the covered arena categories, which include Oklahoma Stock Horse Association (OkSHA)/AQHA VRH Working Cow Horse and OkSHA/VRH Reining. Rebecca Halvorson will judge the outdoor arena categories, which are OkSHA Pleasure/VRH RR and OkSHA/VRH Trail.

On Friday, there are paid warm-ups, cattle works, and clinic sessions, and those need to be scheduled by calling 580-276-0662.

There’s also a Covered Arena, Jumping Arena, and cross country elements to teach your horses a variety of skills.
