Take A Tour Of The Endangered Ark Foundation

For those not familiar, the Endangered Ark Foundation is a nonprofit that strives to protect Asian elephants in North America; both by protecting the ones that are currently alive and also paving the way for future elephants by educating the public.

They believe that humans are crucial in saving the endangered species, and without the help of others they cannot be saved. According to the website, their goal is to make sure others can enjoy Asian elephants for generations to come.

If you or your kid are truly passionate about conservation and preservation, you should make a day out of it by taking a tour and learning how to help for yourself! You’re just a click away.

Take A Tour

There are three types of tours offered: public tours, private encounters, and special group presentations. Public tours, which provide demonstrations and education information, explain how taking care of the animals is made possible. They are lead by staff who have ample knowledge of the creatures. They are always excited to answer questions! Appointments must be made in order to attend. Private encounters are the ultimate experience to get up close and personal with the elephants. Feed, touch, observe, and take pictures with the elephants on your special day. A $250 deposit is required, and you can call (580) 317 8470 to book yours. Group tours are also offered and are perfect for schools or camps. Create the perfect, unique experience for kids and teens by bringing them by the EAF.

If taking a tour, learning all you can, and interacting with Asian elephants just wasn’t enough for you, there’s always the option to donate to the Endangered Ark Foundation. Your donation could help continue the education programs, as well as contributing to the facility and care of the animals.

As a nonprofit, it’s donations from supporters that help keep things running smoothly, so if you enjoy your day of learning, you’re encouraged to donate.
