This engine is front-wheel drive and comes paired to a four-speed automatic transmission. On top of this, drivers who choose one of these trims can also consider an optional 3.6-liter V6 that puts out 283 hp and 260 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and front-wheel drive comes standard. However, all-wheel drive is optional. As you can see, there are several options when it comes to the engine of the Dodge Journey.
